There might not be a more personable talent in Branson. The incomparable Buck Trent is usually standing at the door greeting guests with his signature “thumbs up.” By the end of the show, it’s the guests who are giving the thumbs up along with Trent’s infamous “Oh Yeah!”
This classic country music star entertains audiences with the same level of talent that earned him fame decades ago while touring with names like Porter Wagoner, Dolly Parton, and Roy Clark. He was also a favorite guest on the popular television show, Hee Haw.
Trent plays the steel guitar effortlessly. And he should, since he invented it! But that’s not all. Buck performs five different instruments during the performance, pickin’ to favorite country, gospel and bluegrass songs. His enthusiasm for music and for his guests is evident with every song. Simply put, Buck Trent is having fun and so is his audience.
Buck’s show features an all-star cast including the popular Kenny Parrot. Close your eyes and you might just believe you’re hearing Johnny Cash. Parrot’s tribute to country music’s greatest stars is a favorite part of the show.
Musicians Bruce Hoffman, Dave Clark and Jonathan Black not only add to the great vocal talent of this show but they bring a wealth of instrumental talent as well. Together they play piano, sax, mandolin, fiddle, drums, steel guitar and more. Enjoy songs like “Blue Moon of Kentucky,” “Rollin’ in My Sweet Baby’s Arms,” and so many more.
